Stopped in on fourth of July weekend and grabbed a bite to eat in their cafe. Friendly and fast service with delicious food. We had a cheese burger which was great flame grilled and it came with delicious and a generous amount of fries and topped with fresh lettuce tomato and red onion, a chicken quesadilla which was excellent toasted perfectly filled with chicken and cheese, and a Turkey Reuben perfectly prepared with toasted rye bread with delicious turkey, swiss and sauerkraut also with a generous portion of fries. Even their side pickle is a whole delicious dill pickle and not a spear like most other places. Everything is made fresh and they use quality fresh ingredients. Portions are large and filling and prices are fair. Nice comfortable seating available indoors or out with lovely views. Cafe is very clean and neat with a kind helpful and experienced staff. Highly recommend taking the nice drive and stopping in for some delicious food. There is also a full restaurant available with a full bar that opens at 5 pm for dinner with a lovely menu. Everything was excellent. Loved it all. Thank you. Please keep up the great work.
Stopped in on labor day to pick up my hiking passes and decided to grab a bite at the trails end cafe. I have eaten at their main restaurant The Grille which is wonderful with incredible food but they were closed on this day so we tried this instead. We arrived around lunch time and there was a line but it moved relatively quickly. Good seating avail indoor and out with great views . We ordered the turkey Reuben, the house quesadilla and the California club sandwich. Even though they were busy and seemed a little low on staff they did an amazing job. Courtious fast and friendly service with interesting menu choices. The order was prepared perfectly and most importantly the food was truly delicious. Wonderful large portions with quality ingredients. They don't skimp on anything and you truly get your monies worth and more. Everything was fantastic and perfect. I was so impressed with how organized and efficient the operation runs , even under pressure. They focused on providing the best customer service possible while producing a quality and delicious product at the same time. The place was very clean and organized and very comfortable. I was very pleased to see a simple cafe run on a such high standards. Keep up...
Read moreThe outdoor seating for this cafe had a lovely view of the pool and a bit of the mountain. The service was prompt and very friendly. The bar area had plenty of options to choose from, including a couple beers on tap.
The food was definitely lacking, especially for the cost. The quesadilla was the highlight, with good seasoning and plenty of chicken and cheese. The green salsa that came with it was delicious and had just enough of a kick. The nachos were lackluster, and kind of felt like something I could make at home in the microwave for a third of the cost. The spring rolls were ridiculously small for the $13 price tag - easily eaten in one bite, and not outstanding taste-wise.
For a dining spot in a pricey resort, we found it incongruent that we were served on plastic plates and with plastic utensils.
When we had the option of eating here again the next day for lunch or driving down into town to find someplace else, we chose to go elsewhere. However, I do want to reiterate that the waitresses were very...
Read moreSince changing their menu from a variety of breakfast options, they now only offer pancakes and about three different combinations of eggs and meat. They have turned the menu into a overpriced McDonaldâs. Instead of hash browns they serve frozen tater tots and that should tell you everything you need to know about Trails End. I paid $10 for dry pancakes and frozen tots, and $12 for a breakfast âquesadillaâ. A table beside us asked for napkins, and the waitress replied, âIâm on break right now.â This will be the last time...
