Take cash credit EBT(food stamp card) . really nice polite staff😀😀😀😀😀rather shop here any day as opposed to rude owner and staff at short stop gas grocery and laundromat. Since owner of grocery store purchased laundromat it has posted hours yet the employees on night shift close any time they decide. I recently had my dryer stop working and had to go there to dry clothes. So I thought. Sign states open till 10 p.m. yet it was 9:40p.m. and he stated no one was in there so he locked up. Last night I went to use it at 9:30p.m. and door was locked. Same story. Same employee. So the owner lives in the back on side door of 46 th ave. So I knocked on the glass door which woke him up and pissed him off. He speaks no English and I didn't care . told him he has posted business hours so u should stay open. He states no understand. Told him I will knock on your door every time u are closed before posted time. You cost me gas and waste my time. I will wake u until u stay open posted time. Employee has to be here for gas n groceries anyway. So I shop solely at boondox now. Plus short stop lost license to have EBT cuz they weren't following laws on it. Obviously not a honest business here in my opinion. Great friendly staff. Great beer prices and always cold. If they dont have it they will get it! Oh and I thought it add since Steve Smith said thier beer prices were high and didnt have a big selection that thier beer prices are one of the lowest in town amd a much bigger selection than short stop the "mobile" gas station accross the road. Not to make it sound like I prefer one or the other but I go to short stop for breakfast and gas on the way to work in the morning then boondox for beer on my way home. they both have a 5 star rating in my book. Also I've never had stale beer anywere unless it was beer that had been opened and left out for days. Boondox does not sell open beer. I called to ask about product details and prices and was surprised when I kept getting the response I don't know I'm not sure. Other than being rushed off the phone I think it's best I just go in and check for myself because they weren't in the mood to be helpful and they made that very obvious.
