An update follows this original review (2nd time eating here) Our server was good, no complaints there. My wife had a 32oz margarita ( margarita factory associated) she liked it a lot. I had a DosEquis (green bottle). The chips and salsa are standard fare here. Ok. We ordered bean dip also. It was just refried beans, also ok. My wife ordered the cast iron nachos and she liked it. I ordered the build your own combo with 2 ground beef tacos and a chimichanga with ground beef extra crispy. It was tasty. The taco shells were corn and I felt they needed to be fried a little more to be crispy. They were a bit tough to bite through. I asked for green hot sauce and they didn't have any. Only a house made green sauce that our server said was not hot. I can't eat the red sauces. They only have house made red sauce and not any well known hot sauces like Tapatillo or Challula. Well probably try it again. Next time I'll come in with my own Green Pepper Challula hot sauce. We weren't asked if we wanted desserts. A server should always ask that. It's a good way to sell extra items and make a bit more $. We were too full anyway. Jan 29th 2025 Wed: We showed up at about 7:15 pm. The host set us up with chips and salsa, water and I asked for bean dip. (Same as last time). I had the Dos Equis on tap. She had the same "best Margarita in town) always good. This time she had the tortilla soup. In a bowl. It's huge. She liked it. I had the build your own combination. This time one taco with beef Birria and a Chimichanga with ground beef, extra crispy. The taco was super good with the Birria. Juicy and flavorful. Ground beef Chimichanga was as good as last time. The plate was large. Plenty of food here. Portions are plentiful. We were the last guests there. Leaving at 8:45pm. The server who was the bar tender I think, was personable and tended our needs just right. Our second visit was just as good as the first. We'll see next time if it's consistent on the 3rd visit here. Our taste for excellent Mexican cuisine was satisfied.

Lots of food, but it's expensive and pretty bland. I had a chimichanga from the lunch combo. It was overdobe, had to use a knife with moderate force to cut it. Inside was some odd, very pink meat that was supposed to be chicken. It was flavorless. The huge dollop of sour cream and guacamole were, I assume, to give it flavor. The fried rice seriously was tasteless. The only way to eat it was mix in the spicey picante so it tasted like something. My friend ordered from the same lunch combo menu box. She asked for a tamale. Options for meat showed beef or chicken but she was told she could have pork or chicken. She chose pork. She said it was ok, but when the bill came they had charged her $1.25 extra for pork- without bothering to mention that detail. We questioned the waitress who did lots of back pedaling and finally agreed to remove the charge. Our group had similar mystery charges on various tickets. Very disappointing. Our waitress was friendly just to say that for her. I went into the women's restroom to wash my hands but the floor was so sticky it was disgusting. One other thing. All tvs were tuned to some soccer game. They were loud! We asked for a different channel but we're ignored. We were the only patrons in the place until just before we left. I can't recommend this place and won't be going back.

The servers and staff were delightfully attentive and there was a very mininal wait for a table in the bar area. The only reason we had to wait was because we went during dinner rush and because the seating is setup for every other table (thanks COVID-19). Prior to COVID-19, you could just walk to the bar area and seat yourself = no wait. We never had to ask for more chips or salsa and we never ran out of either. There were staff walking around and making sure everything was full. The chips were fresh and the salsa had the perfect kick, not too spicy but lots of flavor. It's also not too thick or too thin in consistency. Our food was delicious and hot. It came out very quickly as well. Our drinks took time to make so our server brought us water (again without having to ask). I got the large Joritas Margarita which is made with fresh limes, comes in a HUGE glass, in the rocks, 2 shot glasses floating on top and a light up "ice cube". My companion got the "regular" size margarita which was what a large would be anywhere else. My only regret is that I didn't take pictures. I'll definitely be back

Wow! This is "our place". We even bring the boss here for dinner when he's in town.

We moved here last year from Tacoma and have been lamenting the fact that there's no where to go out for dinner and drinks in this place. First (and only) place we found was Guadalajara (Mexican was our first priority to find).

RIGO is the most awesome server we have come across anywhere. He's just badass. He pops by the table at exactly the right time, every time. Every table can be packed in this place and he's just whizzing around getting everything done. THE ENTIRE STAFF is always smiling, courteous, quick... you just know they all love their jobs, which in turn makes being there that much more pleasant.

The food is fabulous. Best Chile Colorado I've had anywhere. The plates are huge, but that goes for any similar establishment. The daiquiris are strong, though avoid peach, it's from concentrate :( Berry flavors are great, though!

We have always been served super fast. Usually 2 minutes for a table, 5 minutes to order food, 10 minutes for food to arrive. They always ask the husband if he's ready for another beer when there's about 3 swigs left, he never has to wait til it's empty. The bill comes at the right time and they always thank you as you walk by the hostess station.

update STILL loving this place. It's the only place we go when we don't want to cook. Patio are was very nice...
