They helped me with food men's toiletries but plenty of food. I thank those that do volunteer to help people in need.

Went in today to look at their Thrift Shop and they actually had a pretty good amount of clothing. I got a bunch of stuff for myself and other family members that was much needed for this coming winter.

As for the food pantry, it wasn't open today and I still refuse to go back there.

Let's put this into perspective okay they claim on the website that they help on average 80 to 180 families every time the food pantry is open. They are only open for 2 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. you can do the math on how long you are going to sit there and wait and wait and wait.

It's great that they don't just help the local residents they help any family in need, in any County, in the area. That's awesome because there are many small towns that just don't have the resources. What the Dream Center needs to do is distribute these areas throughout the week. Example: Monday help 10 cities, Tuesday help 10 other city, Wednesday help 10 other cities, Thursday help 10 other cities, Fridays help 10 other cities.

What a disaster this centre has become. They make you wait over 2 hours just to get food. When you do get food most of it is rotten and unusable.

Avoid...

The LDS Volunteer screamed at me in the parking lot upon arrival and told me to get back into my car 2 min until 3 pm. I have not been here in months and last i came here the rule was clients were supposed to line up and be there a 3pm to wait to take a number. I noticed other clients were not told to get inside their vehicle and were allowed to stand in large groups in the parking lot. I asked when the policy had changed and the worker was very rude!!! Once the 2 min had passed people were running over each other over to get in!! Some things need to be changed bc the safety of clients are at risk and the volunteer needs to be let go bc that is not the behavior in which a non profit christian church supported organization should treat clients. I will never come here for help again. I suggest anyone needing help visit local churches...

Use to be a great place to get help with food, clothes and other help .but they Have gotten to where you cant go on not only their property but anyplace on the block even across the street . if you get caught anywhere on the block you will not get served . There are a bunch of people that has to take the city bus to get there if we cant get on the block all people driving gets in line first and we cant get our stuff in time to get back home. The last three times I went i got to transfer station to late to catch the last city bus home had to walk 9 blocks with the food to get home . I have started going to the grocery store dumpsters and getting food . its much easier and dont have people talking to you like you committed a crime just for...
