Adan Donuts — Restaurant in Longview

While the donuts aren’t bad there are certainly better places in Longview. I’ll not name such places because I don’t want to be accused of being some troll for the competition. With that said, you would think having such a run-of-the-mill product in a city where much better donuts exist elsewhere, one would focus on some other selling point. For example, the employee/owners should attempt at having a pleasant personality - try smiling and being social. The employees/owners should always attempt to look 3 seconds into the future and predict their customers needs. If you have packaged my donuts up in 7 individual bags why must I have to ask you for a plastic bag to carry the 7 smaller bags (plus 1 milk) back to my vehicle? Given the lack of seating in what is otherwise a someone large and open room I assume you don’t want people to “dine in.” Not surprising given the antisocial personality the employees/owners exhibit. All the same, the few times I have come in I would have liked to sit and eat whatever it was I ordered that morning. Instead, the two tables you have are typically occupied but someone. I’m the type who, if I saw a single individual sitting alone at a table for four (in this scenario/layout), I wouldn’t hesitate to ask if I could join them; however, the few times I’ve been in, I didn’t fancy the idea of sitting with the particular characters posted up at either of those two tables.

My point is, I want to see small independent business to succeed, truly. But know people appreciate the small things...and I’m not talking about your unusually small blue berry donuts or two small tables. I am talking about the atmosphere and a friendly experience...two things that seem to be lacking at...

I love doughnuts too much. Every town I visit, I look for their highest rated donut shop, eat there, and none still ever held a candle to this shop. And it’s made even better by the amazing service you get when you go! These friends know my order when I come in, and they made the most perfect batch of doughnuts for a doughnut wall my friends surprised me with for my birthday. This place is open until 1-3 first of all! These great people are always open to the community! It is an absolutely wonderful place with great people running it. My boyfriend and I come here all the time because it’s right down the road. The donuts, croissants, kolaches, EVERYTHING are fresh and delicious! Come see them and don’t forget to give them a tip! It absolutely makes their day when we give them tips because I’m pretty sure we are the only people that leave them tips and I feel like it should be...
