I had been thinking of going to Beauty School for over 10 yrs and Finally doing it!!!! Im so happy to have chosen this school !!!! The moment I walked in to check out JAMA'S Beauty College, I felt the great Vibes of a good environment. The instructors are so sweet and knowledgeable . The first 3 weeks were very difficult for me. Working Full Time and going to night school, (I thought I was going to die Lol ) I remember my first day off after that first week I slept in til 2:00pm ha ha . I had not been back to school in 30 yrs so trying to learn something new and taking tests every week and doing homework after my Full Time job at a very busy Dental Office, just wiped me out. Everyday I am learning something new and it has been very challenging, but I have to say I have the best Instructors who care and have a passion for teaching and have taught me so much in 9 weeks. It took me so long to find the right school , I almost gave up.. until I found this school.. I am still attending my training at Jama's beauty School with 1mo. To go! I can't say enough! I couldn't be happier with my training as a Cosmetologist and with the choice I made.. From Day one, Mrs. Jama and the instructors were incredibly welcoming and supportive... the curriculum covers everything from skin, nails and hair with the latest techniques.. I appreciate the small class sizes which allowed for personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on practice.. in all honesty, this has been the best experience of my Life! Every single person (Students)including Mrs. Jama, and the instructors have become one BIG Family to me and each other.. Everyone got along with one another, always giving each other compliments and lots of encouragement and helping each other, this was exactly what I was looking for! I am currently almost 2 months into the evening esthetician program at Jama's Beauty College and I couldn't be more thrilled to see what the future holds. Ms. V is a master of her trade and is passionate about her students' success. Ms. Jama & Ms. Flores bring a positive energy through the door on a daily basis. The class sizes are small which guarantees maximum one-on-one attention. They tailor their program to their student's individual needs and various learning styles. They will guide and encourage you in reaching your personal goals. The tuition cost is more than reasonable and they have a 100% state board passing rate.
