I tried the lalalasagna food truck and OMG, deliciousness. I have had a lot of pasta and Italian food in my life, since it is one of my favorite foods, and this is probably in the top five for me. I had the original lasagna and I could not stop eating my portion, which was the perfect size for lunch. How couldn't I finish the fresh pasta layers with well seasoned sauce and meat as well as creamy cheese. Two cannolis for desert was a perfect way to end this flavorful meal. Nice shell with a light and not too sweet flavor. Definitely check this truck out. Yum!!

After a long day of life and work, I came home to a home cooked Italian meal!! The owner is Italian, the food is from the home country, and the service is absolutely Italian! The lasagna is the main event. Velvety Smooth!!! Home made sheets of fresh made pasta layered between perfectly Italian marinated beef and rich yet light cream. It's like eating lasagna made from a planet consisted of Italian Chefs!! Find them on the streets of LA and you won't be disappointed!

I tried La La Lasagna by chance tonight, and - It’s like they somehow fit Italy in this little food truck. Authentic Italian food and friendly service. It’s hot outside, so I went for the light butternut squash ravioli and it’s divine. The bits of sage blend perfectly, and the side salad tastes fresh. Don’t be fooled by the smallish container of ravioli, there’s layers of them and plenty. Ciao ~

I was really looking forward to this place because it came as a food truck at our residence. I ordered a special which was meatballs. It was 14.50 and reported to come with a sidr of beautiful looking roasted vegetables. For an extra dollar or so you could add a few small mozzarella balls with balsamic glaze. I did. It also advertised that it came with 2 pieces of fresh bread. I also ordered a small creme brulee for 6 dollars.

All ordering was done online and they automatically added 15% so 27.00 when it added up.

Now I ordered it about 5:30 PM because I was gonna take a walk to the jetty and come back so I was gonna take about an hour and it allowed you to go ahead and order early and I figured that was great because they were staying till 8 PM. I set pick up for 7:35.

I came back after 7 and and the order wasn't ready but that was OK and then when Michaelangelo saw me he said oh I'll have it ready in a couple of minutes.. He's a nice looking man very personable.

I asked him if the roasted vegetables were in this bag as well because he mentioned the meatballs but not the vegetables and he mumbled but didn't say yes or no.

I took it up to my apartment and I opened the bag and what I saw was just the small creme brulee and the meatballs and the tiny little mozzarella balls. No roasted veggies, no bread.

I returned to the food truck and I asked them if I was missing a bag.

I could not believe his answer he said that my order came in late and so he couldn't give me any vegetables! HUH???

THEN he said that they didn't have any vegetables... somehow this didn't make any sense and he said that they had run out of bread .and he made up for the vegetables by upgrading the mozzerella balls TOTAL BS, they were the exact ones I paid extra for. ..

Now I ordered at the beginning of the time that they were there. And I left more than an hour. They could have called me and said they didn't have those items but instead he made excuses.. He didn't offer to make make it right he didn't really care at all.

I was extremely disappointed. He should have told me what they were out of. He should have offered something to make up the defecit.

I will never order from this rip off...

Ignore the 1 star reviews. I would have regretted it if I did not give this truck a try. This truck was outside our apartments in Culver City for the first time. We get trucks weekly and the wife and I always make and effort to support these truck. Small business and rough times. I just finished eating the Meatballs, Penne with Vodka, and Original Lasagna. Also a side of Cannoli's. My wife beyond loved the food.

What I expected was an Olive Garden type taste. I was very wrong. All the dishes are clearly homemade, fresh ingredients, and unique tastes. Easily the best pasta, lasagna, and meatballs that I have tasted. Vastly different from anything store bought or made at home. You can tell the owner takes pride in their dishes.

The food portions are a good size to price ratio. You would probably get more at a restaurant but each plate would also be about double the price. Our total for 4 items was around 60$ and I consider that to be very reasonable 3 Dinners + Sides.

To summarize: Give this food truck a try. This truck easily deserves a higher rating. We get food trucks weekly and they are hit or miss but this is easily a truck that I would be willing...

The original Lasagna is very tasty but unfortunately was luke warm at best. Serving sizes for both the Lasagna portion and salad were surprisingly small for the price. The original slice and a Creme Brule (maybe 3/4 of a cup) set me back $22

The food tasted good but can't ever justify going back for that price and those portions.

Edit: It seems in your response you're concerned that I felt the size of the portions were inadequate. The price of those small portions is what has me bothered. Not to add the deceptively large portion photos up on your menu board. Also there's no way in this 95° weather your "170°" Lasagna cooled to warm in less than a 1...
