This is my fantastic local park. Steeped in history... Rustic Canyon Park lies sequestered among enormous old growth trees that were planted as a forestry experiment back in the 1800s. Read moreThis is one of our favorite parks on the westside. The green space is small and bowl shaped, which naturally corrals smaller kids (and even big ones). At night it actually gets dark, allowing us to enjoy stars and the glow from our barbecue. There are a few too many "amenities" for my own tastes—I prefer maximum open space.
