Black Rose Antique & Oddities is such a special, unique place full of beautiful handmade pieces and wonderful vintage finds. There are similar stores near where I live, but I will always go out of my way to visit this shop. The selection is vast and the craftsmanship is untouchable.

Additionally, they are responsive via Facebook. I recently reached out to ask for help finding my friend the perfect gift, and Jennifer sent me photos of different items based off of my friends interests, as well as the prices of the items. She had the item held for me and I picked it up that weekend. Pickup was easy and my purchase was packaged with consideration of my drive back home. Days later, Jennifer reached out to see if my friend was happy with her gift.

Omg!!! Was looking for somewhere to go on a rainy day during my trip around the area, and could not be happier with where I ended up. A diverse and impressive collection of oddities (taxidermy, animal bones, dolls, various cultural statues/carvings, crystals, etc) as well as an upper floor with what you’d typically see at an antiques store (but somehow still better). About 90% of the items had price tags with descriptions, which I feel is uncommon for antique stores- it was nice to know the origins of an item!
