My wife and I just rented 2 kayaks from this place they where 11 dollarsa piece they wheren in great shape they provided life vest and of course the paddles, I'm a big guy weighing just over 300lbs they where able to accommodate me with a kayak capable of holding 750lbs. They not only rent kayaks but also have a large assortment of fishing gear, and for those of you that like to buy local most of his baits are hand made from Ky and other places. Best shop around. I live 4 hours away in the southern most part of West Virginia and there is no other shop around that has the selection that Mr Akers has at his shop. He also has the best prices around. Everytime I visit the shop Mr Akers and his staff make my family and I feel like we are apart of their family.
