Previously it was owned by the Kentucky and Indiana Terminal Railroad. It was also used by the Southern Railway, Louisville & Nashville Railroad after its purchase of the Monon, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and the Milwaukee Road. In addition to all this rail traffic it also had two highway lanes for auto/truck traffic. I can't recall which highway...
