Anytime Fitness — Local services in Lovettsville

The gym itself is super nice. Very clean, lots of variety in equipment. However, i am a sucker for customer service and during sign up, the employee (i think owner actually) was so sweet and personable. BUT then when i decided to cancel my membership because i moved and there was not a club close by (within 15 miles - per my contract), there was absolutely zero communication. I called the club to ask how to go about the cancellation process and i did as she said- i sent an email with proof of change of address. I received no response and my account continued to get charged. So i then mailed a typed letter to the club itself and requested a confirmation and again, no response. For me personally, this is unprofessional and to be honest, as someone who likes to budget and just bought my first home/ has to pay mortgage for the first time, i just wanted to know when to expect the cancellation fee and when my membership fees would stop being taken from my account. I guess i should add that the prices were a little steep and i found it ludicrous that i would be charged for bringing a guest. No hard feelings but like learn...

There are several things that I needed when looking for a gym: Up to date equipment, cleanliness, a lot of open times and the ability to mind my own business. Anytime Fitness Lovettsville has fit the bill for me. The gym is always spotless and the equipment always clean. They have all the equipment you could need (machines, weights, cardio, functional) without having so many that it is overwhelming. Was very pleased to see an assisted dips station, which you don't find in a lot of gyms. Showers available, water stations as well as a small protein drink refrigerator. Being able to get in whenever I have time is a massive bonus as somedays that will be 4AM. Rates are very competitive, and the membership seems to be people that just want to work out instead of having to deal with the influencers spending their time taking pictures. ...

I like this place and have been with it since the Brunswick days. It is conveniently located, well-lit and super clean. The equipment is first-rate and the ownership team keeps everything well-maintained. Apart from individual use, they have a variety of other programs to take into account almost any aspect of staying fit and healthy. And, Sarah, the manager, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Since my earlier note of several years ago, a new ownership team has taken over within the past couple of months and they have not missed a beat. This is a great gym, very good equipment, plenty of it, and the place is kept super clean to include all of the shower and bath areas.
