BaseCamp Glamping, LLC — Local services in Lower Merion Township

I booked BaseCamp Glamping for my daughter’s birthday party last weekend. Paid in full, up-front. The day of the party, no one showed up. My husband & I tried every way of getting in contact, but the phone number went unanswered, no one responded to text messages, or Facebook or instagram, or anywhere else we tried to get in contact. Almost two hours after the tent was supposed to be set up (and a solid hour after our daughter’s guests had arrived), we finally received an email explaining that our booking had never been put on their calendar; they were out of town and wouldn’t be setting up for us. They did refund me in full a few days later; but that doesn’t make up for the disappointment, nor does it cover our extra effort & expense to...

This was so much fun! Chris and Brooke are definitely doing it right. They were super easy to get in touch with and plan our event. We had my sister’s bachelorette party planned as a surprise and chris came and set up the tent with 8 beds completely set with pillows and blankets and even made a personalized sign for the table inside. And he did it all in time for a successful surprise! Pictures don’t do these tents justice bc they are so much bigger inside than you would think and decorated so nice. Thank you Chris and Brooke! We had BaseCamp Glamping set up for my daughters 9th birthday. They were wonderful. So friendly and professional. The tent and accessories were amazing! We were able to sleep 11 girls and 1 adult in the tent with room to spare( in sleeping bags). We watched movies which we projected right onto the tent! The kids loved it! Not one bug got into the tent and the heater was perfect for overnight. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again...
