The Yellow Poplar Trail is completely overgrown (or at the least, not clearly labeled) and there is no notice at all. This is the trail (green dashed lines in the map) along the eastern boundary of the property (black dashed lines), from east of the barn and the green house all the way up to the Jack-in-the-Pulpit Trail. If you try to start it from near the barn, you may not even find the trailhead. I learned it the hard way when I descended from the Blue Bird Loop via the Jack-in-the-Pulpit Trail. I could barely make out where the trail was, but fallen trees have made it impassable. I had to walk uphill perpendicular to the trail to get out. I guess most people may not have enough incentive to call them during their business hours Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, when we ourselves also need to work.
