Baldwin County Strawberry Festival — Local services in Loxley

Where are the strawberries? Only $8.00 strawberry shortcake? A slab of hard cake and stewed strawberries? It was good but if it's a Strawberry Festival there should have been more than that. Nice venue, arts and crafts, other foods, music, carnival rides, but one Strawberry offering? Come on guys I brought my family from an hour away for Strawberries, you can do better, if it's going to be like that next year just rename it something else. Also others complained about traffic and parking, well in my observation all the police officers were at the intersection directing traffic in and out, in order to make the process more streamlined then spread the officers out more so they can assist with the parking not all of them gathered up at one location.. just saying from experience. Other than that, a nice family...

We enjoyed it! Parking was not an issue. A Very well organized event. I could not give 5 stars because of the name. It was named as Strawberry festival and pictures of strawberries on their website and adds but there was ONLY one stand that was selling strawberries and they were strange shaped California Strawberries most likely filled with growth hormones and obviously NOT local! Way too crowded. You can’t even go into the booths or get food because of the mass amounts of people. And not a lot of places to get strawberries there and the places that do offer it have lines that you can’t even tell where they begin because they are so long. I will never ever go to this festival.
