This place is the best in the U.S.A they watched me grow up year by year when my grandpa would make the trip every summer. Unfortunately my grandpa Larry Switzer has passed on and i need to plan a much over due trip back to my childhood. please if you are wanting to start a family short trip look these kind folks up and make the memories come alive in your children and grandchildrens hearts. This shop started a life long enjoyment of going off the beaten path and see what the real America can show us.

We have recently went into Brant's Meat Market. We were so impressed with the service and friendly owner who gave us samples of most everything and talking to us about their town with much pride. We ended up buying most every cheese he had at least a lb. or so. We also bought bacon and some sausage. Can't wait to go back! It is one of the best we have been to. Delicious meats! The owner here is amazing and talked about his little town with so much pride. Although this small town doesn't have a whole lot to offer aside from the Grassroots Art attractions, taking the few hours to go out of the way, to see such beautiful artwork, and what the real Kansas American life is/was like, is totally worth the trip.
