What a GEM on I-10! From the moment we stepped in the property, we were happily greeted by the owners, Richard gave me the best rundown of lavender EVER, while Piper the land supervisor (the cutest, kindest dog!) entertained my daughter. We were immediately acknowledged when we got into the merch store. The cashier was so kind to tell me about the benefits of the sleep cream (if you have trouble sleep, HURRY AND BUY IT!!! I’m a believer after 2 nights), helped me pick out the perfect gifts to take back to my friends, and was just friendly. I forgot to buy a sticker so the second time I went to the store, the other owner Erin was working the register. She makes the sleep cream among other things and wow! She takes pride in her products. It’s always a good sign when the owners can be seen more often than not. As we left, Richard was working hard pruning the lavender as Piper made sure no spots were missed. Also, get every flavor of ice cream. They are delicious. I regret not buying the chocolate lavender flavor, but the lavender peach and regular lavender were DELECTABLE. Also, I love the dedication to the color lavender in the small details (napkins, even a lavender colored flamingo garden trinket) Highlight of my entire visit? I spotted a hummingbird at the flowers!!! Worth the drive, regardless of where you’re from. I will definitely be ordering more products soon online if I can’t get back out there over the...
Read moreMy husband and I were on the way to pick up our son for the holidays, and finally got a chance to stop here. I had been wanting to go here for a while now. And it was everything that I could imagine and more. So peaceful when we walked in. We were greeted warmly, and the smells were heavenly. Purchased some soaps, room spray, lotions, and writing pens. The natural ingredients lotion totally has transformed my skin in such a small amount of time! I had a type of rosacea on my arms and the lavender lotion has calmed the symptoms and my skin is more hydrated. I didn't get a chance to browse everything since we were on a road trip, but I know that that will not be my last time at the fields. I could easily pull up a chair and sit for hours writing stories there. Such a beautiful location. I love shopping small business, and this one is a must for anyone traveling through the area. And I learned they have an online shop! So even if you are not in the area, you can still experience this magical place. Definitely a must for gift giving, either for yourself or friends and loved ones. I am so grateful to the owners for having the foresight of creating such a welcoming, beautiful, much needed space for people to enjoy....
Read moreIf you're a fan of all things lavender—smell, color, taste, flower—you'll love this place! We discovered it on a road trip after seeing a billboard and doing a quick Google search. My husband insisted we stop, knowing I'd love it, and he was right! The Lavender Fields concept is fantastic. Most products are homemade, with some items sourced from third parties, like the lavender drink you can also find on Amazon (I checked so I can order more later!).
I was amazed by the variety of lavender-based products, from syrups to coffee. The highlight for me was their homemade ice cream, perfect for a hot day. We tried one chocolate lavender and two regular lavender ice creams, and my kids declared it the best ice cream they've ever had! We ended up getting three more regular lavender ice creams because they were so good.
We also bought some "monster spray" for the kids, which is essentially a lavender-scented pillow mist. While it doesn't necessarily calm them down or help them sleep, it does smell wonderful. hey enjoy me spraying it at night. We will definitely be stopping here everytime we pass by now on our road trips! Can’t wait...
