Overall it’s amazing and wonderful and would be 5/5 if it wasn’t for humans being humans.
PLEASE READ THESE TIPS!!! -A lot of disrespectful foreigners that you need to be wary off. (Carry a weapon) -There is not enough parking so you will have to park in the grass or fight for a spot (Some foreigners started a fight) -Be patient and wait your turn because everyone runs to the waterfalls. (The further down you go, the less people) Just know that a lot of people swim in the waterfall so they don’t leave for hours! (It’s not even that deep of water)
Pros: There is a waterfall every 5 minutes and feels like it never stops. There are no pets allowed so you don’t have to worry about that. You’re allowed to play in the waterfall, but be warned a lot of dirty people do this. The actual hike splits off into many different hikes, giving a large variety. It’s a pretty short hike to see the waterfall and not hard at all.
Cons: Too many people know about the spot, causing a long line at each waterfall. There is an abnormal amount of foreigners that do not respect other humans and have no manners. There were fish in the small area by the waterfall, causing foreigners to kill them for some odd reason. The hike gets confusing dependent on what way you go, so be wary of the different routes. The only markers are different color markings on the trees and the occasional sign...
Read moreUpon reading the previous reviews, I saw some people commenting it was a moderate hike but that it was kid and elderly friendly. I don't know if I would exactly agree. My husband, two year old son and I went and I pretty much had to hold my sons hand the entire time because he kept tripping over roots or rocks. There were also some narrow spots that were just too close to the edge of a long drop for my comfort with him. To top it off we had to carry him quite a bit for the way back so in the end, it was a bit much for us too. There were plenty of spots for us to take a breather on the rocks along the way which was nice. The falls were very lovely, lots of photo opportunities too. Mileage wise it is not far, but the path being rocky, muddy etc really slows you down. Give yourself plenty of time to do the hike, it will probably take longer than you think. Overall, I am glad we went, I just would have appreciated it if my son wouldn't have had to be carried so much. Also, the parking lot was packed. We had to circle around a few minutes to...
Read moreI saw a mixed explanation of the trail, and discovered that the discrepancy lies with where you park. If you park at the parking lot named for the water fall you will have a more treacherous climb down to the waterfall and then have to climb back up, if you pass that parking lot and park at the next overlook (there is the U shape over look where you can park and also a small road directly after the U that allows for extra, but less desirable parking; you can cross at the cross walk and follow the path of an unpaved road to the waterfall, you can climb to see more water falls, the last being the grand finale, or you can enjoy the first waterfall without a climb at all. We had no trouble parking at the U shaped overlool and enjoyed the leisurely mile hike to the waterfall. We climbed all the way up near the parking lot just to see the difference and determined it wasn't really...
