I took my car here for an inspection the first time, and it went pretty well. Recently, I had to bring my car in for repair. Since I couldn't pick it up on a day they were open, I paid over the phone and used the Dropbox. I asked about the $100 off $1,000 or more service coupon I received in the mail and was told it had to be presented in person, but I could drop it off in the box when I picked up my car.

Unfortunately, I didn't get much sleep Saturday night, and I was busy Sunday morning, so when I picked up my car later in the day, I forgot the coupon. On Monday, I sent a text message explaining that I forgot it and even offered to send a picture of the coupon, but I was completely ignored. Considering they sent me the mailer, they could have just honored the coupon.

When I finally went in to present the coupon in person, they said they'd honor it, but then told me they'd apply it to my account for next time instead of refunding it to my card. The coupon says nothing about applying it towards a future service. This is more than likely a violation of consumer protection laws, which require businesses to honor their advertised promotions.

This entire experience was a waste of my time. I won't be going back again. They don't respect their customers' time, and the whole coupon situation was shady and deceptive. If they're willing to be deceptive about a coupon they offered, it makes one wonder what else they might be...

While my husband and I were driving from Hatfield, PA to FallingWater our car started to dramatically overheat. Fortunately we were able to stop at the PA Turnpike Blue Mountain rest area. Two very helpful baristas at Starbucks directed us to Blue Mountain Car Care one mile from the rest area. When we arrived at Blue Mountain Car Care we were warmly welcomed. The staff made sure we were comfortable, offered us beverages and snacks as we waited in the comfortable and beautiful waiting area. The mechanic on duty quickly looked at our car, offered us options and repaired our car as per our request. The cost was fair and reasonable. If you ever have the misfortune to have car problems on the turnpike, I do hope it is in the vicinity of Blue Mountain Car Care at PA turnpike exit 201. We had a sad experience. Took our honda in for A/C repair and inspection. Explained where the a/c leak was - in an obvious area right on top. Not only did they not replace the line we ask , they found other valves that were worn and with our permission replaced them hoping it would solve the problem. Of course,The price was double what we were estimated at.. 2 flushes later @$780 Dyes is in the system for follow up … one week later the A/C stopped working!
