I stopped into this salon last week to get my builder gel removed since my usual nail tech was out on maternity leave. My nails had grown out, so I needed a simple removal. For context, I’ve been getting builder gel for over a year, and my regular tech always removes it by drilling and filing, so I see my natural nails every two weeks and know they are always strong and healthy. However, my experience here was awful. The technician who removed my gel took an excessive amount of time drilling—far longer than necessary—to the point where I could feel the heat from the drill burning my nails. Throughout the appointment, he kept pushing additional services—manicures, new sets, pedicures—even though I repeatedly said I just wanted the removal because I was giving my nails a break. After leaving, I realized my nails were paper-thin, weak, and literally bending. It was the most uncomfortable feeling—I couldn’t even peel a sticker without discomfort or have my nails in warm water without it burning. I honestly don’t know if they intentionally over-filed my nails in hopes that I’d come back desperate for a new set, but if so, that’s beyond unacceptable. A week later, my usual nail tech was back, and when she saw my nails, she was completely shocked at how damaged they were. She knows the condition of my natural nails since we see them every appointment, and they have never been this weak. We went ahead with my usual builder gel application because I physically couldn’t tolerate how fragile my nails felt. Two days later, all of the gel was peeling off—something that has never happened to me in over a year of getting builder gel. This isn’t normal; builder gel does not lift or fall off like this unless the nails underneath are severely compromised. I don’t even care about getting a refund—I just want my nails back to normal. More importantly, I want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. If you care about the health of your natural nails, be extremely cautious about going here. I’ve attached a picture of my nails after removal with my usual tech (healthy), my nails after this removal, as well as a picture of the state of my nails causing the gel to come off.

I come here often and usually don’t have any issues. I don’t think it’s fair to give a business a 1 star review after having 5 star experiences majority of the times BUT this is my second TERRIBLE experience with the manager that usually at the register. About a month ago, he had an issue with changing the shape of my nails due to them being too short. He proceeded to yell at me while pointing to the door instructing me to leave because he didn’t want to do my short nails. I told him if I didn’t like them, that would be on me. He then proceed to tell me ā€œdon’t complain if you don’t likeā€. Ummm you don’t tell me what not to do sir, but to be fair, I understood what he meant by that but his tone, demeanor, and attitude was rude. I move forward with the service and ended up loving the new shape of my then extra short nails so ultimately, he did a lot of yelling and going back and forth with a loyal customer for no reason. Fast forward to today, I received a text yesterday for a coupon for 10% off my total purchase(pics included) my total today was $182. I get to the register and I pulled up the text message that disclosed the 10% discount. He(same guy) is instantly loud and hesitant. I politely request if he could simply remove a service that total $13 but he then stated that he needed to call the owner. I asked if the message was a hack or something? He says no I have to call the owner. The phone ring but no one answers. With no resolution at hand, I resorted to paying my full total but tipping $00.00! I didn’t wish to argue with him again. He’s aggressive and rude for no reason. The pint system is a joke. I’m considering going elsewhere but I’m torn because I have no issues with the nail technicians, just the rude manager that always seems to have an attitude. ***Edit: I spoke with the Owner, Ann or Anna yesterday 9/30/2024. She was very helpful and kind. We have come to a resolution for the problem! Thank you! 😊

Easily the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. I stopped in a little after 1pm on 12/6/24 to get a simple pedicure without gel. The tech who did my pedicure never introduced herself and never tried to establish any contact with me - rather through conversation or visually. She put very little effort into trimming my cuticles, the cooling gel/scrub felt like a child was gently rubbing my legs and as you can see from the pictures, their is polish on the side of my third toe, top coat over applied on my skin and my cuticles literally speak for themselves. This is the second time I’ve visited this location. I visited once when they first opened and the pedicure I received, I was in and out with regular polish applied in 30 mins or less. This includes the time it takes the regular polish to dry. I decided to try them again today and while this was done in 50 mins (including time for polish to dry) the experience was less than stellar. It appears that favoritism is shown in the customer base they prefer as you will notice similarities in the four and five star reviews vs the lower reviews. It sends a very clear message that lets me know, I will never return to this location or any of the others.

I live very close to this nail salon, and I am extremely bummed out that I can not go there again. They are very pushy on spending more money and almost try to trick you into it. They tried to tell me that I had to get gel toe nail polish over 4 times and I had to say no repeatedly. It was very uncomfortable. I have gotten gel toe nail polish from them before and the nail polish on my big toe ripped off within a week. I kept trying to tell them that and they were acting as though they were upset with me.

My finger nails were longer than I had thought so I asked them if I can just do my manicure with gel polish and not fake nails. The manager asked me, in front of everyone there, why I had said that I wanted fake nails over three times. I had to apologize to him multiple times for saying I wanted a full set instead of just gel nail polish. I am not sure why it was a big deal. I believe it was because it would cost 20-30$ more.

They also continuously asked me to do dip nail polish instead of gel. I told them multiple times that I had talked to my friend and she said she likes gel over dip. They pushed me to the point where I said yes to dip because they wouldn’t accept no. Then I finally said for the 4th time that I do not want dip and can I please do gel. I really don’t enjoy feeling that way when I am getting my nails done.

Overall, I spent 100$ for everything and I am not sure why they were being soooo pushy for me to continue to spend money on things that I did not want. It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had at a nail salon-to the point where people were looking at me because they would not stop asking me to do the upcharges. I had to say no over and over again. Additionally, the person doing my nails would not speak to me after I had said no multiple times. When she did speak to me-she would ask me if I wanted my legs wax or my eyes brows waxed. I believe most people go into a nail salon with the idea of what they want and the overselling was unbearable.

Commenting back to my review saying that I am mixing up nail salons is crazy! I know that this is the exact location...
