Cogan Station Market — Local services in Lycoming Township

Every time I go in here, I am treated like crap. Every person there is RUDE. Tonight - even though there was a customer in there AND the door was not locked AND it wasn't even 10:00 yet - I was told to 'Hurry up because they were closed' when I stopped in to get a drink on my way home. When I proceeded to the counter to pay, I was AGAIN told that they were closed, so I informed them about how I receive crappy service from everyone every time I come in the store....and one of them started to laugh arrogantly at me!

Do NOT visit this store for anything. Their food is awful and so are the attitudes of the employees. There are plenty of pleasant merchants less than a mile away that you can give...

After spending $25 on gas with a credit card outside, I was told that I could not purchase a Dr. Pepper and chips with the same card, as the total plus tax was $4+, but min credit card charge was $5. I respect that those are their rules, and I wasn't interested in asking for a waiver. Nor was one offered. The cashier was stern and terse, which is the main point I was thinking to convey here. Note to mgmt/employees: pretend to care, feign empathy. Just be friendly to the customers. It's why you're in business! It's not like there aren't a hundred of the same place nearby; this is on a main interstate artery. Looks like I'm not the only one here who has had a similar experience...

Every time, and I do mean “every” time I stop for gas, I have to go inside for my receipt. This takes time that I don’t always have. Stopping at this store is always when I am in need of gas quickly. I had expressed my frustration with the cashier twice, the first time was blamed on the new owner not wanting to supply the paper and the second time the cashier’s response was that “there is another gas station down the road “. Looks like they don’t want to sell gas to folks who don’t want to go out of their way to obtain their receipts. I will be doing my absolute best to not have to need use of this establishment in...
