Karen Charleson, HKA Account Manager, has a unique ability to make a person feel heard and at ease. We have two contingent labor employees on our team that are part of Karen’s Jacobs oversight. Thorough, detailed oriented and constantly striving for understanding, Karen’s approach is to have the “whole picture” encompassing strategy, vision and stakeholder alignment prior to establishing a recommended path forward.

I have regular interaction with Karen and have observed her work speak for itself. Karen will often seek input on Jacobs’ organizational alignment, stakeholder changes as well as best way to approach leadership given current dynamics. Her careful consideration and ability to pick up on nuance is quite extraordinary. She exudes a positive outlook and determination to do what is “right” for the situation coming from a place of caring for all parties involved regardless of her own workload. I have tremendous respect for Karen as a professional and constantly learn from her multi-faceted approach.

I am writing a review of Walt Chandler, of HKA Duncan, SC office. I have worked with Mr. Chandler since 2011, in the offices of LG/CH2M in both Spartanburg, SC and in Greenville. I was the Piping Manager for LG/CH2M during the years of 2013-2019.. Walt (and his HKA team) provided excellent services to us. He has been a very professional, respectful, and highly dedicated "partner". His attention to detail, such as screening applicants to ensure they fit our needs is most impressive. This 'screening' is not an easy task, and requires diligence. Of course, a good working relationship depends upon reliability, not only from HKA but from their client (LG/CH2M). The more reliable the information i would relay to Walt the better he could fulfill our needs. HKA Enterprises is a first class company. They were able to provide personnel to fill our every need within very limited time constraints. Their staff recruitment by Kaitlyn Newell in their home office and their site coordinator Austin Ferguson made the process of onboarding particularly easy. Their management staff was easy to work with and handled any issues with the utmost urgency. I had the pleasure to deal with a large majority of their management and have to say that the personal attention paid to our contract by Matt McGinnis was above and beyond any expectation.
