Dollar General — Local services in Lyndon

We were extremely disappointed and frustrated as we had decided to go to the Dollar General for its convenient hours.

The lack of communication and inconsistency between the online store hours and the actual operating hours was highly unprofessional. It wasted our time and left us without the necessary items we needed for the night.

Furthermore, the absence of any explanation or sign on the door only added to our frustration. It would have been courteous and considerate for Dollar General to at least provide a reason for the early closure, whether it was due to unforeseen circumstances or a mistake in updating the store hours.

Overall, this experience left a negative impression of Dollar General. We expected better customer service and reliability from a well-known chain like this. It is disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and communication. We hope that Dollar General takes this feedback into consideration and improves their operations to avoid inconveniencing...

Waited 20 minutes in line, did not see any employees. Customers were yelling and looking around the store for any help. Finally after about 30 minutes an employee appeared out of the back.

The store itself was filthy, the self check out is very slow, half of the barcodes on items won't scan on it, you will have to wait for an employee to enter the number for you (good luck with getting an employee to help you in the first place) Many items I would have purchased were expired or 2 days from expiration.

The staff were rude and unhelpful with any questions I had about products, and once again took 30 minutes to come out from the back after a dozen customers yelling for assistance, walking around the store and even calling the...

Most of the employees are very friendly. There's only one or two that aren't very friendly and don't smile or say hi to you or make you feel welcome I guess is a good way to put it. I do love this store because I can get most of what I need in ONE place. It's a pain for me to have to make several different stops for the things that I need. Prices are usually pretty fair I think. I also would like to put a shout out to the employee that is the most friendly and that I absolutely love. Her name is Deb. She's wonderful. Makes you feel very welcome, asks if you need assistance, asks if you found everything. We've gotten a pretty good customer, employee relationship and I love going in and finding out that...
