MLD has been around for years, and on my most recent visit, I was blown away by their cinnamon roll French toast. Three huge pieces of eggy sweet goodness, with pure Vermont maple syrup to drizzle all over it, and I ate the whole thing. To top it off, I had a slice of their maple cream pie, which was by far the best I've ever had. So creamy and whipped like a mousse that you'd get in a fancy restaurant. This place just hits the spot when I get off the highway after the long drive up to VT. I've come for lunch and I've come for breakfast. For breakfast, I love their country fried steak! Its just everything that you could want for breakfast. For lunch, I had a "blue plate special" (a Thanksgiving special in November) which was delicious.
