M/I Homes Cinco Lakes — Local services in Lytle

Beautiful lakefront homes but they say a lot of things that aren't to draw you in.. for example I gave my max budget and was told multiple times that if we couldn't afford it, we'd get our money back, and not to worry because they'd do everything in their power to make sure I could afford the home. Neither happened, my max was $2600 and the price towards closing ended up being $3200 so naturally had to walk away and when I've tried to contact them about receiving my earnest money back many times, they just ghosted me instead of addressing the issue in any form.. however today, 3 months later, after having to go to corporate, they finally sent a cancellation contract stating that they were keeping my earnest money smh.. even when interest rates go back down, would not purchase from this company,...

These are poorly built homes. Power goes out almost multiple times a week and nothing being done about it. Homes continue to go up at a blistering pace, but yet no pool or amenity center for homeowners that have been here 1-2 yrlears already. Homes do look nice, but I personally would suggest to look elsewhere until you can get some type of guarantee that the power issue has been resolved at least. I have been in the Cinco Lakes community for 6 months and have had 15 power outages and been required to buy a portable power generator due to the amount of time...
