Love coming here alone or w family. We dont live in Macedonia but have just bought our 2nd yearly membership. Paying for guest pass if not from there is worth it once in awhile or for sure to check place out..although you can get a free tour anytime. Paying guest rates 1 time a week like we were for a while was getting steep in pricing but thats why we bought membership. Even not living in Macedonia you can still buy pass and it was cheaper then many others we have looked at for year memberships. There is a great pool area...lap pool w maybe 5 to 8 lanes..a big deep section w diving board then a 4 ft section w basketball hoop if needed followed a kiddies section babies can just sit in if wanted to. Free weights downstairs along w many many machines. Several fitness group rooms for classes. A day care available although I haven't utilized yet. Upstairs is a big track and many bikes and elliptical machines. Also lots of machines better suited for myself who doesn't go fast Or hard w workouts Lol (circuit training I believe) lots of TV to watch and play decent music if you dont bring headset. Oh and by pool there is the best wwhirlpool/hot tub, steam room and sauna. Plenty of lockers several showers in each locker room (4 in ladies ) along w a family changing area. Definitely worth...

Decent rec center. Weights are a little tired, but they weigh as much as any others. Enough weights and enough benches and racks for the demand. I've never had to wait for a bench when I've been there.
Pool areas are nice. They have a zero-entry pool that is great for small kids. The lap pool and diving area are very good. No high dive, if somebody is looking for that.
Track is good. Oddly shaped with some sharp angles. Better for walking than running, but it works for runners.
They take good care of their equipment; I've seen no problems with machines staying out of order for long periods.
Good selection of classes for those looking for them. Or at least I think they do.
Locker rooms are freezing in the winter, though. That makes swimming in the winter a bad option here. And the showers are substandard. Better to go...

Newer LifeFitness nautilus equipment with QR codes to use the Life fitness app to log your workout and set goals.
The locker rooms and showers are updated and relatively clean. (There is a swimsuit dryer in the women's locker room.)
There are many classes to sign up for on the Macedonia Family Rec Center website. They offer a wide variety or classes. (Silver sneakers, aqua kickboxing, aqua arthritis, Tai Chi, Barre, Zumba, Rip and many more.) When you are a member all classes are included with your membership.
Sanitation spray bottles and towels are present (sometimes there are no towels) to clean work out equipment (a positive post-Covid addition).
Sam at the front desk was wonderful and welcoming. She was helpful with my 1000 questions when I toured the premises. Sarah, Kristin, and Ray are all friendly...
