BUYER BEWARE!! I have a wedding ring that lost an inset diamond after 6 years. I did this myself after attempting to clean it when I accidentally broke the metal frame underneath the diamonds that help secure them. I took the actual stone and a piece of the metal frame so they could see what I did. I originally tried to take it to where I bought it but they moved out of the store, so on a whim I chose Tony's. He said the under carriage part was destroyed and needed a new one. I agreed. He charged me $200 and I got it back in a couple of weeks. I was happy and it looked great. This was August of this year. A week ago I noticed a stone missing. That is less than 2 months. I am very busy, not on that side of town so I couldn't get immediately back there. Within the past week 2 more diamonds fell out. I took it there and he blamed me saying I must have hit it. I showed him the ring is still perfectly round. He says "nice try" and compares it to his brother crashing his car. Twisted!! I did nothing that should have damaged this ring, it is cherished. He shows me where it looks like stones were pried out which I honestly think he did when repairing it. In 6 years I never lost a diamond and in 60 days or so, after Tony's work, I've now lost 3. He says give him $250 more and he'd fix it again. Fool me once... He showed me his cheap piece of metal under the band where it was busted. It looked like a poor solder job to me. I have a friend who sells diamonds who I will be driving further to get to, to get a real opinion and a real repair. What a disgrace. STAY AWAY! should have read the reviews...
Read moreAwful quality and customer service! Got engaged mid April and needed my ring resized. A baguette fell out within 24 hours of getting it. After taking 2 weeks to get it back (a week longer than promised) it came back sized wrong! It took another whole week to come back... and within 24 hours 2 new baguettes fell out!!! This time I waited 2 weeks to take it back to see if anymore would come loose. Thankfully no more did. I got my ring back a day later that promised after dropping it off for diamond replacemnent... and one of the replaced baguettes was completely SIDEWAYS in the setting!!! I touch it to see how firm it was in place and it just came right out. At this point I was livid. I went straight back to the jeweler and was told it would be ready the next day. NOT! No one called me to inform me it was ready so I called in the afternoon only to be told that it wouldn't be ready for at least 4 more days due to a holiday. I'm furious. I've had to bring my ring back multiple times for missing diamonds and was promised a certain time frame each time that was never followed through. My ring has been at the jeweler more than on my finger at this point. My ring is gorgeous, but I seriously question the quality and if you want your jewelry back in a timely manner don't go here. Since the day I got engaged, nothing but problems with this ring and getting timely/quality repairs. Go somewhere else! This has been a very infuriating process. Save yourself the mental stress and go to a...

We purchased a GIA certified diamond ring from Tony's Jewelers. The diamond they claimed was in the ring was 1.00 carat. They gave us an signed appraisal with the GIA certificate number and description on it.
The diamond ring was left overnight for service only at Tony's Jewelers.
I have recently brought it in to another jeweler, for insurance appraisal. I learned something new. Each GIA diamond has the certificate number engraved with the number.
I was told the diamond in the ring was not the diamond we were told we purchased. It is not the 1.00 carat diamond, but a 0.85 carat diamond. Which is thousands of dollars less. I took it to three more jewelers to confirm the diamond's certified number. It is the 0.85 carat diamond. We were fraudulently sold and paid for a more expensive diamond. That is $1,000's of dollars cheaper that what we were over paid for.
I went back to Tony's Jewelers to ask what happened. He denied anything and started yelling at me claiming I changed the diamond. This is totally false.
Since then, I have done research on this store. This apparently is not the first or only time they have done this.
This store is owned and operated by crooks!! Please take my advice and shop elsewhere. Plus always asked to view the inscribed number of any GIA certified diamond, before you...
