I'm genuinely needy and homeless so the prices are so high I can barely afford anything anymore at thrift stores like salvation armys and goodwills and other places like this because they're the new fad to go shopping at by the middle and even upper middle class people with the money to go to the mall and buy new clothes so now that they've driven prices to hardly compete with department stores now so where u used to be able to find decent clothes cheap for job interviews or furniture for 20 and 30 bucks for a decent couch has now turned into 300 dollars and tables 150 when they used to be 10 dollars most of the time. And it's rather strange they dont understand that they're gentrifying being needy and causing the needy even more oppression and desperation and now we have to beg more and mostly just cross our fingers because we don't have vehicles and gas money to travel to 4 different cities and "goodwill hop". Goodwill and thrift stores used to be a prayer answered because they meant only one trip to one place vs begging for rides for Saturday or Sunday mornings begging for rides to hunt for good yard sales to have the opportunity to find anything decent and sometimes that ride amounted tonothing. And now the prices that used to be 1.50 for a shirt and 3 dollars for Jean's are now anywhere from 4 to 6 dollars or more for shirts and 8 to 10 dollars for jeans. U can buy them new at Walmart for 5 bucks more. Thanks a lot. Hope ur happy with ur "treasures" u could've...
Read moreI started shopping this store a few years ago. The prices were great, and despite the older racist cashier, I continued to visit for the deals I was buying. Unfortunately, I visited last weekend and I was in shock over how high the prices were. Incredibly over inflated for the merchandise being offered. I was glad to see the miserable cashier was no longer there, and I wish that was enough to continue going. You are welcome to reply with scripture and your 1/3 the original price comments, but the bottom line is you are a business trying earn as much as you can. Don’t hide behind the guise of your mission. Your prices are too high. Googling each item to see what it sells for online is not an accurate way to price used, old, stretched out, faded, piled clothing and merchandise. You are not eBay. I’ll never visit again and will let friends and family know not to visit this store. I am...
Read moreThey had this bed on the floor marked full size which is the size of my bed & when I got home to set it up , it didn’t fit because it was a queen size, very misleading. I’ve tried to contact seller and got no call back, I will never shop here again. I believe in customer satisfaction especially when I spend my hard earned money. I’m tired of companies using the telephone as the middle man so they don’t have to handle situations that may arise. I'm updating my response. I was contacted by the manager and they fixed my problem, they went the extra mile in finding me a full size set but there was nothing that interested me so they gave me in - store credit & I found some new & wonderful items to add to my home, I would like to take the time once again to thank them for handling the situation. I'm happy & I will shop...
