Fish House II — Restaurant in Macon

Me and my lady purchased the “Black Bass Special” came with Fried bass, fries, Coleslaw.. for $11.99. Bass was fresh, but this is the best we can say about this meal. Hers was soggy, compared to mine was pretty crisp.. no seasoning on anything.. lacked it very much. 2 small hush puppies.. coleslaw was not slawwin’ at all. Only had fountain drinks and bottled water.. which I’m not a fan of.. so we went across the street for bottled drinks.. only came with tartar sauce and ketchup no bread or hot sauce… guessed we should’ve asked.. they didn’t. They cheat you out of your meal. I bought the meal deal, with 4 pieces of fish, 9 shrimp, 9 oysters,9 scallops with fries and Cole slaw all for $23.00 . when I looked into the plate of fish , what I got looked like one catfish cut 4 ways. No scallops and the oysters were fried beyond recognition. Now the fries where in a separate small container , which were warm. Then the Cole slaw came in a small coffee cup. The food was delicious and cooked fresh! Our food was prepared in a fairly reasonable amount of time. The food was so good that we visited it the following night to dine in. The restaurant is also a fish market, so if you don't like the smell of fresh fish, don't sit on the left side of the restaurant, because the door to the fish market is there.
