Atwoods — Local services in Madill

I enjoy shopping at Atwoods typically everything is just as it should be. I stopped in today with my daughter and granddaughter to do some last minute shopping. I just had hernia surgery and can’t lift anything over six pounds. An employee watched my daughter lift a 40 pound sack of cooking pellets for me. I guess he disapproved of what he saw, but never managed to step away from the register that had no one in line to help. I ask how he was as we checked out to no response. As we left I told the group of employees at both registers hope you all have a merry Christmas. To put the icing on the cake the guy says “Yeah you to hoss.” Wow what a tough guy. Great job Atwood's Madill employees. I've had to come to store everyday sometimes more than once the past few days. The store was busy and appeared understaffed . The employees were busy with boxes of merchandise to put up all over the store with customers needing help lined up with most workers I saw yet Everytime I needed help everyone of them was so nice, patient and helpful. Customer service was best over any retail store I've been in in a LONG time. Even a young guy (another customer) helped me load a big box in my car. He asked if he could help me and he did all the work. IMPRESSIVE!! Kudos!!! Renews my hope for the future generations!! Y'all...

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received! They couldn't help or direct me to the needs I was looking for. All the employees were just hanging around conversation amongst themselves and got annoyed when I asked where something was! When I did ask they just pointed in the general direction! Two employees were just sitting outside with their legs up smoking cigarettes and chatting it up, another 2 employees were gathered at the popcorn machine stuffing their faves ignoring everyone around them! Rhis is not how a business should be! I will never return to...
