Really nice resort with super friendly staff and a great little restaurant!

As far as the gambling, I don't suggest it here! I go to casinos expecting to lose especially post pandemic but this one is the tightest I've ever been to. This was my second trip here and I play around $300-500 when I go. This trip out of that I got 2 bonuses one on a $3 bet and one on a $2.50 bet the first gave me $12 for the bonus and this is after running around $200 through the machine and the second gave me a triple Pop feature for a whopping $1.75 bonus. The first trip was almost identical. So between the 2 trips I ran somewhere between $600 and $1000 through the machines so that's a descent amount to gage off of, and to only get 2 bonus features and for one of them to only pay back a fraction of my bet, it tells me they don't like to payback at a normal rate like the other area casinos do.

I just did my taxes and got my win loss from choctaw and lost right at 10k last year, but I like playing there because you get a lot more action for your money so I go there a lot more. When I hit a bonus there I don't think I have ever got back less than my wager, I mean that's ludicrous.

This casino should maybe loosen up the take a little or I don't see people playing here or it sticking around long. It's a shame because it's the nicest casino property on the Texas...

West Bay is a very small casino, but clean and has the benefits of being smoke free. The issue my husband and I ran into was that we had booked two rooms at the motel the week before for Fri/Sat, based on information we had gotten in the mail about the establishment. We were required to provide the code from the pamphlet during the reservation process in order to receive our rooms for free. Our reservations were confirmed when we arrived on Friday night, but we were informed the rooms were only valid from Sunday through Thursday. Now, the pamphlet makes no mention of that. When making the reservation, the representative stated our rooms were free and did not give any dates or restrictions. We planned to have a date weekend away from work and home, and to simply spend some time together, but that did not work out. We ended up heading back home because I did not want to pay $176 a night. Therefore, if you are making plans and are offered free rooms, make sure to ask and clarify as this could save you all a very long travel and some money on top...
