The Coffman ReviewThe Coffman Review
We always find lovely people in Madison, and Cindy Goley at Goley’s Orchard exemplifies them all. Her son, Kyle, has been a reader and supporter of The Coffman Review for a while. But it was only recently that I learned his family had an orchard in Madison. So of course we had to stop by! Located up “on the hill”, the orchard is over 100 years old. Cindy told me the amazing story of how it came to be, from a land grant to a sawmill to the orchard. Today her sons are still active in the Madison community and she was clearly proud of them. In addition to apples and cider there was a room full of gifts and treasures. From signs, candles, quilts, and purses to pillows, blankets, curtains, and flowers— my wife went a little crazy. 😝 We left with cider and Christmas presents for everyone in my family. 😁 Check out Goley’s Orchard the next time you’re in Madison. A best-kept secret! It's one of the few places to purchase raw, freshly pressed apple cider...it puts anything you can buy at the grocery store to shame! Even if you can't make it here during business hours, check out their self-service options based on the honor system...you can still grab a gallon of cider and a bushel of apples to take home after hours. A gem!

We always find lovely people in Madison, and Cindy Goley at Goley’s Orchard exemplifies them all.

I've never been here before and boy am I glad I stopped!!! Amazing lil place lots of apple choices and they makes sure the bags are full before you leave. There's a lil shop in the back that has a great selection of items, purses, jewelry, soaps etc all priced...
