Raymond Road KinderCare — Local services in Madison

My baby (15 month old) has been enrolled here for around 3 months, everything seems good (they took pictures and there are some activities) until last week: he came home with two scratches (bleeding) on his two arms, which cannot be caused with his long sleeves clothes during this cold season. We only saw it when we took him to bath. It looks like somebody's nail that scratched both arms during a diaper changing time or clothes changing time. However, there is no incident report and no explanation.

The director stated that some teachers cannot speak English, that's why we did not receive any incident report, which in not acceptable at all. We assumed to stop the current enrollment today and was told since we did not obey the "2-week notice policy", we need to pay extra 2 weeks fee. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I thought we can end the program immediately based on what we have seen so far, but their "ridiculous statement" ignite me.

"WE DECIDED TO QUIT BECAUSE MY BABY WAS NOT TREATED WELL, WE CANNOT PREDICT THIS. IT IS NOT A PLANNED THING."

I am not saying please avoid this place, but please consider my scenario before you make...

We cannot say enough good things about our experience here at the Raymond Rd Kindercare. Both our biological and foster babies were welcomed with open arms and on short notice with our scenario. When it came to the logistics and flexibility needed for our foster baby, they were fantastic and helped make these challenges easier for us. All of the staff is always so welcoming with a smile and their caring nature with our babies is unmatched. We love the updates on the app keeping us up to date on their nap schedules, what and when they are eating, their bathroom changes, and the adorable photos and videos. We really enjoy the fun art projects they work with them on. I would recommend this...

Any description of the Raymond Road KinderCare has to start with "family". The leadership from Ms. April and Ms. Savannah set a tone of love, care and professionalism at this childcare center. Our family has been so thrilled with the care, engagement and joy that our one-year-old son has received over the past months. We have felt like part of a larger family from day one and the could not be happier with the genuine love that shines through at every level of this childcare gem nestled near Elver Park.
