I came in, sick and broken, and instead of offering understanding, I was met with mockery. They laugh at you when you're vulnerable, then turn the tables to make you the problem when you finally speak your truth. The staff? Indifferent at best, passive-aggressive at worst. The worst part? The false façade of compassion they put up to justify their actions.
I don't need their fake love or pity. I don't need them to pretend I matter just for the sake of a clean image. But I won’t be silenced or made to feel lesser by their cowardice. The truth is, they’re all just hiding behind their own masks, pretending everything’s fine when it’s all just a game of appearances.

With a shower and a meal I feel like a normal person again and not like a “homeless” person, which makes it a lot easier to do the things that I need to do to get myself out of this situation.
