I'm very disappointed in Walmart as a whole, especially the Huntsville, TX location. Everytime I shop at this location, it's nothing to see employees with their heads down on their phones-watching videos etc. This is so very unprofessional. I am blown away at these young people who evidently have not been taught basic customer service skills and the lack of professionalism and more in the workplace. I blame Walmart's Management/Corporate for the lack of training in just good ole customer service. For example, I've had to go in multiple times a week for various items in the garden section, only to find not one person in that area, or to find one young male employees with his head down actually watching videos on his phone. Upon approaching him and asking about pricing, or looking up an item, the employee has no knowledge of anything. It's so very frustrating as I'm talking to him he continues to look down at his phone. This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm tired of hearing businesses such as Walmart and other's excuse of nobody wants to work. Well, I'm here to tell you that is no excuse. Just recently, I had to return some items and as I approach the customer service dept, three women are standing there working, yet not talking about anything work related, instead talking about personal things and seem to be having a good ole time, while they know I'm standing there waiting patiently. Once one of the employee's finished telling the other two with their story, then the employee wispers two one of the other employee's there is a customer standing right there in which they finally walked a foot over to ask how they can help me. Not even a hello, my apologies, how are you or anything. If I did that on any particular job, I would have been written up or fired. Oh and wait, it gets better. So again, while recently purchasing several large items such as a tall metal 5 or 6 shelf unit and a 3 metal shelf unit from the dept that is near the shop vacuums etc, after getting home and taking all of the parts out and assembling it myself, I discover the metal shelf has a major dent in it, and the same thing with the smaller shelf. I was so angry, I could not believe what I was seeing. I then had to rebox everything up and take it back. I didn't repurchase another one. Instead, I went elsewhere and actually purchased the same exact kind/type, and the metal was a better quality as well as the price was even less. I also purchased small items from the same Walmart location, only to get home and find the product was damaged after opening it up. I have never had to take back so many items in a total of two weeks from the same location. Again, regarding the same location, after getting a grocery cart and walking inside I mentioned to an employee that their box where you pull out the antibacterial wipes that people like to use in order to disinfect the grocery cart where you put your hands and all. Well, the employee told me they were out of them which okay that's obvious if course, but the employee told me they do mot replenish them and the employee did not offer to go and get any or even say I'll let my manager or anything know. I WILL not shop this location period. I try to avoid any Walmart location if possible. At times i do have to go on behalf of my elderly Mother, but let me tell you. The Walmart in Madisonville, Tx I visited about a week or so ago and this location which is small, but their employees young and older are by far the friendliest, most knowledgeable and was by far one of the best Walmart's that I've been to in a long time. It's easy to get in and out and employees are always nearby to ask if you need any help finding anything and more. The Huntsville, Tx Walmart location, another huge concern was the lack of security and lighting at night time. I called and talked to someone on the phone regarding my concern and the safety and security of not just myself, but for other shoppers, and I was told they have no security personnel who drives around the parking lot, and lighting has been an issue....
Read moreI wish I had gotten pictures but, to be completely honest I was to disgusted and disappointed!!
I went into this Walmart to buy some diapers for my grandbabies! When I walked in the store my first thought was that is was so messy and hard to navigate around. Upon checking out my cashier was super friendly! However, the two young men I saw when leaving proudly wearing their Walmart vest both seemed to be having a problem with keeping their pants on! Both of them had their pants hanging down with their rear ends hanging out for all to see including my 11 year old granddaughter!! It doesn’t matter that they had underwear on all that matters is that they were representing Walmart with their butts hanging out! It was blatant as well because one of the young men’s shirt fell dow covering his butt and he made sure to jack it right back up so everyone could see his butt! I don’t just look for peoples butts so don’t come for me! They were both walking right in front of us! This is unacceptable WALMART!!! Why have you cheapened your...
Read moreLet me say how grateful I am with Melody. She was the sales representative who answered my call and helped me find an item in stock that I searched for in multiple Walmarts in Houston. Luckily, she was nice enough to check her inventory before having me drive 1 1/2 hours away to find out for myself. When I arrived after my long trip there everyone was so nice and polite. I had the pleasure of holding a conversation with two very sweet young men Francisco and James. The were able to get some help assembling an item I drove there to get. They not only had a great sense of humor, they were also quite the jokesters (they both know why 🤣). I had a pleasure of even meeting Melody. She was the sweetest women there. Thank you all for making my trip not only fun, but full of memories. I definitely wouldn't mind another drive to this sweet place in Madisonville. Once again Thank you Francisco, James and Melody keep up the great work. This world is in need of more people just...
