My wife and I purchased a couch and loveseat from Temple Furniture in September 2020 and it was defective from day one. During, the first year, Temple repudiated, our claim, and that of the retailer who sold us the furniture, that the springs were bad and offered to sell us new cushions at a cost of $375. In 2024. Temple agreed to give us new cushions and they split the cost with the retailer. Cushions did not fix a spring problem. I contacted the CEO by phone after two emails went unanswered in November 2024 and he told me I was lucky to speak to the CEO of a major retailer. Following two more emails and the mention of social media he FINALLY sent his national sales Director on January 7, 2025 to inspect the furniture, and he verified our claim that the furniture was indeed defective after 4+ years of us dealing with the defective furniture. I heard nothing from.Temple for four weeks, so I had to contact them myself. I requested an I requested a refund, but it was denied.. The repair was made, but the furniture looks and feels bad, because of 4+ years of use with defective spring support. Do not buy temple furniture, you...
Read moreVery unhappy with our sectional. The store we purchased this custom piece from assured us wholeheartedly that Temple stands behind their product, and if we had ANY dissatisfaction at all, they would make it right, whatever it took. The sectional we had before (different brand/store) had lots of pilling, and I wanted to make absolutely sure that this didn't happen with the new one. We were assisted through the fabric choice experience and were verbally guaranteed that this would not pill, and that if it EVER did, we would have it replaced. Well, less than one year in, with just my husband and myself living in this house, the cushions are all covered with uncomfortable and unsightly pilling. Asked the store about it, then came back with the response from Temple that "no one else has complained about this fabric pilling" so basically, too bad folks. Even the store salesperson was shocked and embarrassed, and felt bad for us. I know Temple isn't a super high end brand, but considering we did pay well over $4,000 for this sectional, it really stinks that now, just 14 months later, it's really looking rough. So dissatisfied, so...
Read moreFirst temple piece we purchased. A smaller scale couch over 4K and the piling is terrible. We have not even had the couch for 5 months. This began shortly after receiving the couch. I thought a little was probably normal but in a short time it quickly became worse. When my guests ask what’s going on with your couch and even my cleaning lady you know it’s bad. Unfortunately, temple argued that since we have pets this voids the warranty. Easy out for most furniture companies. I have a fairly large home with many pieces of furniture and no other piece is doing this. Do better for your customer next time! I own my own business as well and I know when a company is making excuses for their product.
EDIT TO NOTE: It has not even been a year of having this couch and unfortunately will be purchasing a new couch. I can’t even stand to look at it anymore and from all the piling it looks like I picked it out of the garbage (from what one of my guests said). If you are purchasing with temple be very cautious of what material they use. I will be going back to Flexsteel for all my...
