amazing prices and usually great service from the workers, but this time I had to exchange a broken window and the person they sent to unload was fighting me on the exchange when I had called ahead and the cashier had already said to bring the window back and they’d exchange it. Mind the fact I live an hour and 15 minutes, which is why I originally called first. This was for a contracted job not personal use and we’ve spent over 6 grand at this place, so I wasn’t going to waist my time on driving over an hour there and back and cheat them out of a window when I’ve bought over 30 windows there already. The worst part was the person sent to unload wasn’t even the person who had the final say, he went inside looked for the manager, spoke to him privately and brought him out just for the manager to tell him to exchange it for the same size one, which is all we came to do originally. I didn’t argue or complain but the manager didn’t even talk or look at me or apologize for the inconvenience, he simply grabbed the window, played with it, told his worker what to do and left. You’d think after having me there longer than I should’ve and after giving me a broken window, he could’ve at least apologized or confirmed with me that he’d do...
Read moreNice enough wood quality, but they messed up the key hole back set and never responded to us. They basically drilled the holes in the wrong spots and we can't use them now.
Febuary 2024 we bought 5 wood pine doors, 2 of them were a slightly smaller width (28 inches) than standard. It took us over half a year before we finally got them finished and installed by a contractor (that's on us-a lot of projects). However while trying to put the door knobs in we found out the door knob holes/backset were bored at 1.75 inches instead of the standard 2.25 inch. We have now spent 6 months trying to find a solution online, even going as far as to get a locksmith in to fix it. No one can do anything. No one makes locks this size anymore. At this point we need to buy and install 2 new doors since Heeby's screwed up the door manufacturing and won't do anything about it. They never responded to our multiple inquires about this, so we're just out of luck.
Basically if you want cheap doors, go here. The wood is good quality. Just make sure you test out the dimensions and bring door knobs to try before walking out of the store or you risk never hearing...
Read moreI have been shopping here for years and understand most of what they sell here is low end and mostly from over seas. It really hit home when I was shopping for a cheap shower for my off grid cabin. I found one at Heebys and took a picture of it, mainly for the dimensions as I was building the cabin and planned to buy it in 2 weeks. Went back 2 weeks later and found the exact same shower I took a picture of was $100.00 more. The price jumped from $599.99 to $699.99! So I called..... They basically said the stuff they sell (chinese) is being tarrifed and they have to up the prices to the customers. I went to Lowe's and home depot to compare the style of shower i wanted at Heebys and was pleasantly surprised that Lowe's was actually a little cheaper and in a box new. The shower is great and made in AMERICA. Will not be shopping at Heebys for low end chinese junk anymore. Seems the government is moving in the right direction. Thank you Heebys for making me realize the importance of shopping wiser. God...
