Mulholland Grocery — Local services in Malvern

Just made my inaugural visit to the rising Phoenix re-build after a fire burned this masterpiece to the ground over 3 years ago. Tom Mulholland has been providing my family the BEST in meat & grocery since 1992 - first at Wohlners in Dundee Omaha and later he reopened his family business in Malvern. At just under 4K square feet, this property really packs a punch. The produce section has everything a person needs for fresh fruits and vegetables. It was thrilling to see ALL of the Anderson Erickson dairy products; best in our glorious state. Frozen food is not my thing, but it’s obvious he’s got plenty for customers to choose from. Our Family is his generic brand and is quite acceptable when a name brand is not essential. However, he’s got the best of the best when a name brand is what you need. When the meat counter was in site, emotions were heightened as it had been 3 long years without his personal touch to fulfill unique requests needed to create special birthday dinners and other celebratory meals. Tom has shared our family gatherings via his diverse cuts of meat and old world sausages; best breakfast and Italian sausage around. My eyes welled with happiness tears as I was so happy for his fortitude and perseverance to get this beauty of a small town grocery store back and better than one could possibly imagine. Congratulations Tom, and your entire team....

From Southeast Iowa. I vaguely remember seeing a report of your store burning, but just watched a short story on the process. I truly look forward to visiting when you reopen. Our communities caring for each other is what gets us through natural disasters, COVID, etc. Kudos to your family. Hope I meet you...

I just had the privilege of watching a video of the history of your store and your family. This is truly an American story! It is about American values that our country was founded on.
