The playground area is an oasis in a region where the only public jungle jims are in fast food eateries. It is well-kept and functional. The splash pad area, however, is disappointing and non-functional since the water has been cut out. When we went there, the security guard told us that the park was open but that the splash pad had no running water. No wonder we were the only ones in the park on a sweltering February morning - the locals know better than to go to the Acrópolis.
