When Stonybrook's sales rep, Debbie, walked into our office, clearly here to sell something, I'll admit, I was at first a bit skeptical. But, as she told us about Stonybrook and their products and offered my colleague, Shana, and I a 1-week FREE trial of their water cooler, we figured why not give it a shot?
A few days later, when Stonybrook's technician, Steve and his colleague came to install our equipment they did a courtesy water sediment test for us and we were absolutely SHOCKED at the results! Our tap water came back at 94 and Stonybrook's water cooler came back at 11. The goal is to get that number as close to 0 as possible. What was even more shocking is that the water cooler we'd been using came back at 96 - worse than our tap water!! When we saw those results we were sold.
We called our current water cooler provider and found out that they had sold our contract to another company and we still owed $1500 on it. After several phone calls, we realized that we could not get out of our current contract and, sadly, asked Stonybrook to come pick up their equipment. They did so, free of charge, and we agreed to contact them as soon as we were finished with our current contract.
To our complete surprise, a few days after this, Stonybrook's Founder and CEO, Tim Brown, called on the phone and offered to pay off our current contract (which he promptly sent to us in writing, as well) if we could not get out of it. We are so grateful for this generous offer and the fact that the CEO took time out of his undoubtedly busy day to contact us, a VERY small company, shows how invested they are in making sure all of their customers - big and small - are equally satisfied with their remarkable service and products.
I highly recommend this company, Debbie our sales rep, and any of their products to anyone who is interested in sustainably improving the quality of their drinking water at home, in the office, at the gym, or...
Read moreWe just added our third Stonybrook machine to our offices and it is amazing. It all started for us when we had to deal with the fact that we wanted to provide water for all of our clients and employees but were finding half-empty bottles all over the place, going through cases of water every week. Then add the fact that all of these bottles weren't doing anything good for our environment PLUS the fact that the plastic itself turns out to be potentially unhealthy in the long run! A few years ago I was walking through Manchester-by-the-Sea and I saw Stonybrook's complimentary water cooler on the sidewalk! I tried it and a lightbulb went off! I walked inside and was greeted by the most pleasant people! Before I knew it, my first machine was installed, risk free, a few days later! It's so easy to get started, they thought of absolutely everything, and I Promise the cost of leasing the machine will NEVER approach the amount any family spends on buying cases of Poland Spring!
Looking at the reverse-osmosis filtration system, CO2 bottle and pressure reservoir under the sink, it will blow your mind! This is far beyond "clean" water. It is stripped, approved, then reinvigorated with the useful minerals before being cleared into the reservoir and moved into the cuntertop machine for consumption as hot, cold, ambient, or sparkling.
To top it all off, the engineer who came to my office to install is Kyle, the same guy I've met multiple times, and he could not be any more professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and passionate about his product! Plus how cool is it that the company is small enough that I can see his picture right on the website.
This is truly a local company delivering a world-class product that...
Read moreWhat a great experience! We love the convenience of having filtered water in our home and feel great about eliminating all those plastic bottles. The sleek and modern cooler is a welcome addition to our stainless kitchen. It provides three filtered water options: cold (still) water, cold carbonated water, and hot water. The staff was warm, friendly, and knowledgable. They were happy to answer all my questions - they even suggested putting a safety on the hot water as a precaution for my kids.
The installation was prompt, tidy, and minimally intrusive. A simple connection to the house waterline (he briefly pulled out the fridge), and a hidden CO2 tank (after a quick look around, he offered several location options i.e. the cabinet below, the basement, or the closet behind the kitchen) was all it took. We chose the closet so he simply drilled a tiny hole through the wall behind the fridge. The tank now sits discreetly in the back corner of the coat closet, and will be replaced during a quick service call in the next 6-12 months (depending on our family's use). Start to finish the installation took no more than 45 minutes.
Overall, the process could not have run smoother. I look forward to 10 months from now when they automatically ship me a replacement filter (no need to remember on my own), and I do the easy...
