There are so many good things to share about Harbor View after our family placed Mom there permanently and Dad there temporarily while recovering from medical issues. Anita and the office staff were extremely knowledgeable as we had discussions as a family, and their communication with us was impressive both before and after admission. They went the extra mile to help us get therapy started for Dad, and they were so willing to work with our situation to make the transition for both parents to that environment as seamless and easy as possible. The staff treated him with the love and care he needed in his final months. During his last days, the staff was so supportive to me and my family also. My father was a happy man in life and reflected that onto the staff. I feel when a person says badly about a place, it may be because they are bitter and not happy with anything in life. The facility is very warm and inviting and doesn’t have a “nursing home” feel to it. They provide a plethora of daily activities for their residents to participate in.
