Their food is really good, the people there are very nice, and the prices are fair ... the place is small so it is better to buy to go because there are not many places to sit. Also if you go on a Sunday, you must go before 9 am or you'll find a big line at front of you, between 9-10 am a lot of people from Santa Barbara Church, go buy food after mass. barbacoa de res, barbacoa de borrego, carnitas, menudo, consome de borrego, caldo de res, tripas, I had tried them all, I can tell you these are a yes! either you buy it in bulk (like the barbacoas) or tacos. I was at El Buen Mercado last night. The female cashier was extremely rude! I have been going to this store since it opened about ten years ago and never have I ever been treated so rudely. She was also rude to my dad who visited from out of state. She charged him for a piece of bread that fell on the floor: Never should a customer be treated so rudely! I will no longer go into this...
