This shop has always been a treat. The caramel apples, truffles, chocolate cherries, ice cream, maple fluffs, and mints have always been wonderful. This last time was different though. The chocolate cherries were leaking in the bag and the cherries didn't seem to be fully ripe. Still completely delicious but the entire 1/2lb had to be eaten immediately. I didn't try my assorted pound of truffles until home the next day. Over the last few days I've tried each and every one thinking it must just be a fluke but each tasted off. The flavors didn't come out like they used to-champagne, rum, bourbon, coffee, mint, chocolate- these were bitter and heavy on the alcohol but also overpowering. The bourbon has always been my favorite to melt away in my mouth but it was unbearable. The coffee wasn't coffee at all and then the chocolate in each was grainy. However, the owner need some serious attitude adjustment and training. Even without saying anything, action speaks louder than words. For you to yell at my son right in front of me about bouncing a tiny little ball is out of line. Maybe put a sign outside and inside your store not to do that. You couldâve asked nicely. But you yelled it so loud that got even my motherâs attention. They are here visiting from NJ and had to go through this embarrassing situation. I donât care how stressful your job is. You chose to have this business. Itâs unfair to take out your frustrations to your customers.    Read moreAfter spending almost $40 at this shop where the woman barely even said hi to us. there was no greeting but my brother saying hello to her as she was cleaning up shop as we were there 15 min before and left before close. before we finished our purchase my brother asked to try a lil grapefruit slice he had never seen one and was interested before purchasing she said she could weigh it and we could purchase and then try. sok metimes customer service should be a no Brainer but apparently she is missing that in her business we were dissapointed and almost left our items after being blown away at how ridiculous she was. we were not children that wanted to try everythin in shop we asked for one sample at the end of our purchase. very dissapointed to even give this shop a one. holy cow we left with our heads shaking. what kind of cold person doesn't allow samples at...
