This is an astounding and quaint Cafe in Kasson! A one of a kind restaurant in such a nice small town in Minnesota.
The atmosphere of an old school house is something to cherish as the modern world evolves. There's outdated maps, old books, and the iconic old student desks with some old fashioned chairs. The windows are nice a big- letting in bountiful amounts of natural light, and despite being winter, it still maintains a nice temperature inside!
The service is immaculate. They're positive and cheery! They also take great pride in making sure you don't leave hungry- and I sure didn't!
The food was absolutely delicious and they mix up the weekend special, with their latest one being an amazing raspberry sauce on waffles! Their biscuits and gravy are savory and large in portions, really giving you your bang for your buck.
Majority of the items on the menu linger around $10 and with coffee being $3 but with free refills! Despite being only open during the weekends in the mornings, it really gives you something to look forward to treat yourself to while on a budget!

For dinner, I had the stuffed pork loin and my wife had the chicken cordon bleu. Both were the best examples of these dishes that either of us have tasted to date. The horseradish sauce that accompanied the pork was particularly excellent. Dessert was wonderful as well. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Very highly recommended and we look forward...
Read moreI have been frequenting this gem of a place since moving to Minnesota. Staff are friendly and they take pride in their customer service. Because I am prone to have allergic reactions, I normally stick to what works and not vear from my norm. This family owned business knows me so well, that I really don't have to place my order, they already know what I'll get.....two pancakes (which I never finish because they're so fluffy and filling) with lots of butter and a little syrup and green tea. Same thing every time and it's always delicious. My husband on the other hand tries something knew every visit. Either way, we love this quaint hometown gem and you will too. Just a note, they have specific hours and they...
