I hate leaving negative reviews but Stoneworld has left me no choice. If I could sum up my experience with Stoneworld in one word, it would be “deplorable.” I worked with a landscaper to re-do my backyard with pavers. It was a simple project, and he put me directly in contact with Beau to manage it. If I could sum up my interactions and communication with Beau it would be that he is extremely professional and overworked. He is usually reasonably responsive to text messages; however, in my experience, it takes him three or four times I call him before he calls back. The landscaper ordered way too much product. He overestimated the job by about $7,000. That isn’t Stoneworld's fault, but when I did mention the possibility of finding a way to return the unused, fully wrapped, untouched product, I was told they have a zero-tolerance policy on returns. Even though the product was brand new, sitting in the wrapping, and had never been touched, Beau said it was not an option and told me I couldn’t even get in touch with the manufacturer. Why? Its brand new? I asked if I could speak to the owner. Not to go over his head, but I wanted to provide my experience thus far with Stoneworld and let him listen. Beau shielded management and ownership, which is a sign of weakness and insecurity to me. When all was said and done, the pallets that were left at my house were worth some money and despite the issues we had had thus far, Beau did try to go out of his way to help me recoup even if it was a little over 10% of the amount I lost in the over purchase of product. So Beau worked to have me deliver 22 pallets to a drop-off point, and then once they were received, he would have his accounting team cut a check for the amount. That was three months ago. For three months, I have contacted Beau via text in a kind and professional manner, asking for updates. Sometimes, he responds; sometimes, he doesn’t. I’ve left him voicemails, and at this point have had enough and chose to leave other potential clients with my story. I do not know why cutting a check would take three months. My experience is that if you want an overworked representative from Stoneworld who cannot communicate with you promptly, this is your company. Also, if you want a company with zero tolerance on returns and shields its leadership from having reasonable discussions when problems arise, again, this is your company. Stonework is amazing.....Don't go anywhere else for your stone supply. If your putting stone somewhere it must be very valuable property. Why would you ever put anything but the best? Stoneworld is the best. Friendly office girls very helpful and knowledgeable rock staff and the owner is amazing. I was trying to match culture stone that is currently on my house as the new stone would be against it and they did amazing. We never thought it would be possible but the owner came to my house before I even purchased anything and put together an amazing blend that matched perfect. They was patient in the yard as my wife wanted to mix and match what she thought would look great. They are definitely in the business for the right reasons. To make the customers happy. Pricing was great and they are so helpful giving advice and getting me in touch with an amazing mason. If you go anywhere else you must not care how your treated or the outcome of your project.
