Dollar General — Local services in Maringouin

I love shopping at Dollar General but not this one. In the last year it has gotten so bad. It’s dirty, it’s cluttered and there are so many stock carts lined up in the isles you can’t find what you need because the heavy carts are blocking items on the shelves. In a small town having a Dollar General is so nice because the closest Walmart is at least 30 minutes away. I don’t understand how this is allowed. Who is responsible for overseeing this store? When I was in there today I saw an elderly lady trying to maneuver down one of the isles as she was stepping over items that had fallen off of a shelf. I picked up everything off of the floor on that isle so she would be safe. It’s so sad. We depend on this store in such a rural area and it’s just senseless that we can’t enjoy going there to shop because it is so unkept and unsafe. Can someone please help with this issue. There are people who live in this area that don’t even have transportation to get to other stores for things they need. Please help us so that we can shop for the...

If I could put a negative 0 I would … Store is horrible, the worse it has ever been over the years. Regional manager, store manger, assistant store manager all need to be replaced. Can’t fault the employees because managers are clearly not doing their jobs and enforcing tasks & consequences if not completed. “A fish stank from the head” which mean the top managers need to be replaced in order to get this store under control. you can’t shop anything due to all the aisle being destroyed & blocked off with racks. It's ok as where convenience is concerned. However, it's never organized, product always in the isles and there's not enough staff to really keep it stocked properly. The same hard working employees are always there trying to multitask. The regional and district managers really need to do better with this...
