My Mom Theresa Block Mother "T" to the staff and other residents resided at Autumnwood on and off for over 2 years, she had multiple health issues and finally in August 2019 was unable to return home because she required 24 hour skilled care. the team at Autumnwood supported her during her initial transitions into the facility and back home and finally into the facility full time. The nursing staff, therapy department, dietary staff, laundry and housekeeping always made her feel at home. My Mother made many friends participated in Daily Activities and made the best out of her time at Autumnwood. Read moreMy mother recently passed due to dementia. Our experience during her final day was far from pleasant. One nurse that frequently dropped in that day was truly amazing but the other was quite cold and very rude so to speak. She mentioned to me and my siblings that my mother would not pass until she dealt with unresolved issues and indicated my mother was a very troubled soul. I would like to mention to this to this particular nurse that she did not even know my mother and the wonderful women she was to her children, grand and great grand children. This nurse also hounded us to have a funeral home in place that day. No place for this behavior in any home or hospital setting. I would retire if I were you. You know who you are so I need not mention names. For the other nurse whi was so kind and heartfelt, bless you for helping us through...

How is everyone suppose to get the care they need if the staff is stretched that thin?
They do have a wide variety of activities for the residents to do and a majority of the staff seem kind, the understaffing is...
