This place is amazing! I went there Saturday afternoon because they are the ONLY Stihl dealer open after one on a Saturday. I walked in and was transported back in time to A REAL hardware store. Old school hardware/general store from plumbing to all the hand tools to Lodge cast iron skillets, local honey, snapper lawn equipment, Stihl blowers and weed eaters, roofing materials, paint supplies, screw bins with the scale because it's still priced by the pound. Clocks, bird feeders, humming bird feeders, and sooo much more. Staff was friendly was asked three times from different folks if I needed help in the 20 minutes...

I've lived here in Marion for 19 years. I always come to Helping Hand. This is a true old timey hard ware store. Buy nails by the pound, get your lawnmower repaired, or order a fine China set, they do it all. Its family owned and operated and the folks there know exactly where everything is. Can't find the right size belt for your lawnmower at the big box store? , I'd bet money they have it. Everything from welding supplies, to gardening, cast iron cookware and mason jars, to plumbing,...

This place is amazing, take your time and look around. You're going to be surprised what all they have. Not a big box store but by all means they try to have a little of everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you can't find it just ask one of the employees. They're willing to help. Make sure to check this place out and support a local business.
