I had damaged material delivered a couple years ago, the deal with the sales person was to get credit on the next purchase. On many weekend visits to the store I unsuccessfully tried to get this credit applied but there was no one there authorized to do this. I placed a new order of lumber by phone and the salesman agreed to the average price in our area. My call then was transferred to the sales manager to correct the issue with the damaged material. He sure made that right by replacing the damaged material but did not honor the price his sales associate gave me on the new order. The funny thing is that the money owed was only 80.- Dollars but apparently for Ben's these 80 bucks are worth more than keeping a repeat customer.
Another one would be the "We meet or beat your quote" speech on Barn material. They sure do if they see the competitors prices but are missing quite a lot of components needed to complete the build. I would recommend to check each item and the quantities in your Ben's quote before...
