Could not have asked for a better experience. 10/10, 5 stars. The team at Autumn Breeze Stables were all wonderful and kind. My wife and I booked a 2 hour trail ride, and made the mistake of wearing the wrong shoes, but, thankfully, they had some barn boots at the stable! That was very appreciated. We rode Gerty and Apollo, two wonderful horses who had so much personality and handled very well. The trail was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. This stable is on top of a mountain, so you'll be getting some breathtaking views. Our guide, Tim, was knowledgeable, fun and kind. He took photographs of my wife and I on horseback which was a lovely surprise, and made for such sweet keepsakes of our time. When we got back to the stables, I realized I was locked out of my car due to a broken lock and dead fob! Tim came to the rescue with a new battery, which was a lifesaver. He and the rest of the staff then made sure my car was good to get on the road safely. We so deeply appreciate the kindness of the staff at this stable. We drove 4 hours round trip for this experience and would absolutely...
Read moreMe and my sisters and nieces recently did the 30 minute trail ride. I’ve been horseback riding in the past many years ago a couple times and each time had a bad experience with a horse running off with me! So I was talked into trying again but as you can guess I was nervous. The way T taught everything was amazing and just what I needed. My sister who has gone horseback riding in different places many times said that T(?) gave the most thorough and succinct lesson she’s ever seen from a trainer and even she learned some new things! I wish I had remembered their names better but both the teachers were so patient and amazing with the kids. When my niece initially was put on the horse the other trainer could see the fear on her face and gave her such a sweet and firm reassurance that she was gonna keep her safe it honestly got me a bit in the heartstrings. They stayed with the girls the whole ride and put their mom’s fears at ease. Also there’s a cute old man dog,...
Read moreCaroline was an amazing guide she was very knowledgeable about the areas we stopped at and the history of the mountain that we rode on. She was also very knowledgeable about horses in general, which was very interesting to me. Lacy was the name of my horse and she was amazing as well, she was gentle and friendly, she just always wanted to follow her brother up front. :) The sites were amazing as well because the temp was 70 degrees and completely clear with NO clouds. I took the 6-hour ride, it was suppose to include a bagged lunch; however, all it included was a bottle of water and snack bars, which was no big deal, but that should be stated on the website. End note, it was only me and the guide on this particular ride, which made it more personal. Thank you everyone, keep up the GREAT work! Owner of the stables was...
